gday people just wondering who you think was the biggest winner from this years draft
i think WCE did very well again
i reckon we broke even (again)
and im shocked by Freo picking johnson and bradley !!! i though they were going for a youth pollicy ????

Certainly I think we had the best trade week by some way, but I think we may have to wait a couple of years before we can pass judgment on how we've drafted. It sounds like we've done well but they all seem like long-term prospects so a lot will depend on how they develop/improve. I don't have a problem with that, mind you, because like Lyon said, you can build for the future while aiming for current-day success. Any word on how Armitage is looking for next season?

big loser in my opinion was Hawthorn.. Picking up Rioli first and then Dew, they have got some serious skinfold issues to look forward to.. I couldnt understand why so many posters on here were so keen on Rioli... He hasnt had the correct application coming into the draft, and is very small.. Will be very surpirsed if he makes it... And Dew, well that is just a joke.. He wasnt much good at port, just a nice kick, and Clarkson pulled rank over ever other assistant and drafted a mate...seriously a joke...

Hawthorn, without doubt, will be the big sliders next year, much the same as the bulldogs were this year..

Big winners from the draft were WC and Richmond... In that, im very very happy with our returns as well.. seems like good quality in necassary departments.. Ruck and quick inside mids..
